Combined ALD and PVD

Combining ALD and PVD without breaking vacuum offers significant advantages for advanced coatings. Without exposure to air, contamination/oxidation is eliminated, enabling high-quality interfaces, conformal pinhole-free films and enhanced film properties. This allows for the creation of complex multi-nanolayered structures that cannot be achieved using other methods. Swiss Cluster provides the most compact approach for combined ALD and PVD, optimising throughput and reducing costs.

Scalable ALD; High-throughput production

Swiss Cluster technology includes the ability to fit one system with different ALD process chambers, allowing for R&D and pilot-scale/small-batch production using one tool.
